It's that time of year again when local businesses, individuals and non-profits are showcased through the 2025 SCBEX Award Nominations.
Running from now until the end of August there are numerous categories as Heidi Deg from the Swift Current Chamber of Commerce explains.
"We have start up new business, small/medium and large business, community impact award, not for profit, employer of persons with disabilities, emerging entrepreneur and employer of the year."
The chamber usually receives around 100 nominations each year.
Corla Rokochy from the Swift Current Chamber of Commerce details what will happen after nominations close at the end of August.
"Our big reveal will be held at the Great Plains College. It's invitation only so the people that have been nominated and sponsors. So Innovation Federal Credit Union and Great Plains College sponsor that big reveal and Friday September 18th we will find out who the finalists are going to be."

Rokochy reminds everyone that it's Swift Current and District so as long as its a business in the area you don't have to be a chamber member although she says they always encourage people to find out the benefits of becoming one.
