The track was wet and a bit slow on the Rangeland Derby on Sunday night, and several penalties slowed down some of the drivers' rankings.
Defending Champion High River's Jason Glass took out a barrel, costing him 5 seconds and pushing him from 3rd down into 13th place in the aggregate.
Glass also suffered a 5-second penalty in last year's Calgary Stampede, but also set a new track record and was able to overcome his penalty and went on to win it all.
Six other drivers ran into penalty trouble, including Rae Croteau Jr., Kurt Bensmiller, Chad Fike, Chance Flad, Dustin Gorst, and Cody Ridsdale.
Chanse Vigen, who now calls Calgary home, ran another penalty-free heat and sits in first place in the aggregate after 3 days.
It was Jamie Laboucane with the fastest time on the night, keeping him locked in second in the aggregate.
Only the top 3 drivers in the aggregate after Saturday night's races will move into the Championship heat on Sunday.
