November 9, 1928 – July 5, 2025
It is with deep sadness that the family announces the death of Sheila Evelyn Climenhaga in the Kindersley Heritage Manor at the age of 96.
Sheila was predeceased by her husband Merle Climenhaga; her father Clifford Campbell; her mother Evelyn Campbell (nee: Woods); and her sisters Elsie and Virginia. Sheila is survived by her daughter Susan (Fred) Seidel; her two sons Glenn and Jeffrey (Mary Lou) Climenhaga; and her brother William (Diane) Campbell. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Sheila was born on November 9th, 1928 in Warman SK. Over the course of her childhood she attended school in several small Saskatchewan communities as her father transferred between various railway station positions. After some education in nursing in Saskatoon she relocated to Kindersley in 1951 as a telephone operator. She married Merle on June 14th 1953 and together they worked tirelessly on the family homestead, relocating into the town of Kindersley in 1968.
Sheila will be dearly missed by her family who she dedicated her life to. She loved spending time with them all, proudly watching them grow and flourish.
Sheila was a gifted seamstress, quilter, and knitter who also enjoyed gardening and bowling. She served her community as a member of the Order of Royal Purple.
The family respectfully declines flowers. Donations in lieu may be made to the Kindersley and District Health and Wellness fund.
A private family graveside memorial service will be held for Sheila.
