With kids out of school and the weather being warm, day camps are kicking off in the southeast. If you’re not registered for day camps, you can always check out some weekend activities as well.

Shoot to Inspire- Monday, July 7th – Friday, July 11th
Shoot to Inspire is a basketball camp located out of Steinbach focused on empowering women in sports. The seniors' camp is running this week at the Steinbach Christian School. Junior camps will run later this summer, August 18th – 22nd.
Buffalo Point Days- Friday, July 4th – Sunday, July 13th
Buffalo Point Days continues this weekend with the last few days of their 10-day celebration. This weekend brings a golf tournament, a family fun day, and a Show n’ Shine. The 10 days of celebration are based around the 10th anniversary of the festival.

Gardenton’s 60th Anniversary Ukrainian Festival - Saturday, July 12th
Gardenton is hosting a 60th anniversary Ukraine Festival this weekend. Gates open at 9:30 am, followed by a church service, stage show, and tours. This event features clay oven-baked bread and other traditional foods, as well as bouncy castles and baseball. This event is also an opportunity to tune in to all the projects and developments at the Ukrainian Museum.
Mitchell Fun Days - Saturday, July 12th - Sunday, July 13th
This event kicks off with a free pancake, ham and scrambled eggs breakfast at 8 am at the Mitchell Community Centre. Followed by a parade at 11 am. Then an afternoon of free family-friendly activities at the Stahnfield Park, including a chainsaw carving demonstration and a silent auction. Then there's the annual Show n’ Shine and Chicken-BBQ supper happening back at the Community Centre. The day ends with free entertainment and Canfire fireworks at 10:45 pm. Sunday brings a church service and lunch to end the event.
