Unity RCMP responded to a wide range of calls between July 1 and July 7, including complaints related to animal safety, theft, mental health, and fraud.
Officers were dispatched to a report of fuel theft from a local gas station. The individual later returned and paid for the fuel. No charges were laid.
Police also investigated a report of someone harming an animal, but there was not enough evidence to proceed.
Cows were reportedly seen near railway tracks in a rural area near Senlac but were gone when officers arrived.
RCMP were involved in two separate wellbeing checks after concerns were raised by family members. In one instance, officers assisted EMS in transporting an individual under the Mental Health Act to Unity Health Centre for assessment.
A deceased antelope was found on Highway 31 near Salvador and removed from the roadway by police. One fraud case is still under investigation. Other calls included three traffic complaints and three false alarms.
