Two Klippers prospects, and a Macklin native cracked the Sask First U16 Top 34 roster ahead of summer camp July 26-27.

Defenseman Anderson Reschny, younger brother of Calgary Flames first round pick Cole Reschny, made the cut as one of twelve blueliners. Reschny played this past year with OHA Edmonton U15 Prep and is set to play with the AAA Saskatoon Blazers after being drafted second round of the WHL Draft this past year by the Prince George Cougars.

The other two selections were the Klippers first two selections from the 2010 Round of the most recent SJHL Draft, Bronx Becker and Finn Gustafson.

Becker, an eighth-round selection in the WHL Draft by Red Deer, was selected by the Klippers in the first round of the SJHL draft after a trade. The forward is slated to play for the Saskatoon Contacts full time next season after appearing in four games last year.

Gustafson is a Maple Creek born forward who the Klippers selected with their second selection in the 2010 players round. Gustafson also got a cup of coffee in AAA with Swift Current, set to play full time with the Legionnaires this season.

After summer camp at the end of July the next step for players will be fall camp coming up September 11-14 in Wilcox and Regina. From their Team Saskatchewan will be selected to compete at the 2025 WHL Cup.
