Buffalo Point is hosting 10 days of fun for their 10th anniversary Buffalo Point Days celebration.
The 9th day was a family fun day which brought in tons of people of all ages.
Debbie Sexsmith, one of the key organizers, says the event has had an amazing turnout so far.
“The whole point of Buffalo Days was to promote our amazing community, bring people together for all ages, and to have fun and I'd say that we've succeeded in that, and it's wonderful to see so many people here today.”
The 10-day celebration consists of a quiz night, museum tours, pontoon rides, coffee house night, family fun, golf, and so much more.
Sexsmith says it could not have been put together without the work of the volunteers, and the fun is not over yet.
“We're not done the fun tonight. We have fireworks and we have a live band playing epic at our resort center, and tomorrow we wrap it up with a beach day and car show and shine at our Marina”
The 10th day of celebrations also calls the winners of the 50/50 and draws.
Sexsmith says that the event has been supporting STARS because of all the good work they do for the community.
“All throughout the week as well we've been supporting stars who's impacted and helped our community. There's a personal connection here.”
If you can’t make it down to this year's celebrations, keep in mind that the event runs annually and Buffalo Point Days will be back in July of 2026.
