Steinbach RCMP are investigating a pair of assaults from the weekend.
The first one happened Saturday. RCMP were notified at 8:45 pm of a domestic assault at Reynolds Ponds. A 47-year-old male from Portage la Prairie now faces charges of assault and uttering threats.
Then on Sunday at 12:26 am, Steinbach RCMP were informed of an assault in the Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne. The alleged incident happened off Road 31E, north of Provincial Road 210, northeast of Landmark. As a result, an 18-year-old male from Landmark faces charges of assault against another male.
And finally, Steinbach RCMP are trying to locate a vehicle stolen over the weekend in the Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne. Police say the theft happened near Road 42N and Road 31E, northwest of Blumenort. The vehicle is described as a blue 2014 Ram 1500 with Manitoba license plate JBF 960. It was taken some time between Friday at 7 pm and Saturday at 9 am. Anyone with information should contact Steinbach RCMP.
Steinbach RCMP received 63 calls for service over the weekend.
