KC Rescue has 11 kittens up for adoption and is encouraging people to consider adopting more than one unless you have one at home.

The rescue currently has a litter of five seven-week-old kittens, which includes three sisters and two brothers named Dawn, Dusk, Eve, Sunset and Twilight. Dusk has an adoption pending.

There are also four sisters that are 10 weeks old, Bloom, Blossom, Orchid and Tulip.

Iris, a four-month-old kitten, is described as extra special. She is missing part of one of her front paws. While she has a slight hobble, she plays just like any other kitten.

Last but not least, Petal, a ten-month-old kitten that was found on the side of the highway near Scott, Sask. She is full of love to give and ready for her happily ever after.

Kittens are recommended to be in a home with at least one other cat as they can become bored or lonely if left alone for long periods, but having a playmate helps keep them active and entertained. Having other cats in the house can help prevent behavioural issues and reduce the risk of weight problems as kittens grow.

Young cats often learn from each other’s curiosity and experiences, and they can also benefit older cats in the household by providing companionship and mental stimulation.

All of the kittens are sweet, affectionate and playful and ready for a forever home. Find more pictures of these sweet angels as well as more information including on how to adopt at KC Rescue's website.
