Strathmore Flooring Concepts is hosting a customer appreciation event and relaunch on Thursday (July 24).
The company will have hot dogs, pop, and chips for $6, with all proceeds going back to the Wheatland County Food Bank.
Frank Friesen is the general manager of Strathmore Flooring, and he explained why they are supporting the food bank.
"The food bank is being used more and more today than ever before, so we felt that it was a great partnership to have to work with them and get them some food. We know that during the summer, the amount of food usually drops off for them, so this will help them out immensely."
The reason the couple is hosting the relaunch is to show off all the work that has been done in the store.
"David and I bought out Strathmore Flooring Concepts, and we wanted to put our brand on it. Our personal touch. When people come by, especially existing clients, they will notice the hard work and personal touches we've been putting in," explained Friesen.
David Friesen is the operations manager of the business, and he told StrathmoreNow about the importance of helping out the community.
"When I first started working at Strathmore Flooring, I realized that we were maybe a little bit behind in our community and in what our clients viewed us as, and felt that it was time to do an update in the store," said David.
"We want to keep the availability of products in our town, support the entire town, and have it so residents don't need to run to the city for things."
Frank, who has been working with the company for 11 years, and Dave, who just started months ago, said they are excited to present this event to the community.
The event will run down at Strathmore Flooring Concepts from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
