Ruth Kon Obituary
1931 ~ 2025 (age 94)
The family of Ruth Kon are saddened to announce her passing on Thursday, July 24th, 2025, only 3 days after her 94th birthday.
Ruth Married Fred Kon, November 27th, 1954 in Calgary, Alberta. During their marriage Ruth enjoyed the farm life.
Together they had 3 children: Barry (Sandi) Kon, Pamela (Jody) Veer, and the late Murray Kon.
Ruth was a cherished grandmother to Michelle (Jon), Laura, Brady, Evan (Ashley), Brooklyn, Maygen (Rene), and
great-grandmother to Wyatt, Dawson, Kinsley, Sophie, and Avaeah.
Ruth loved anything sports, playing cards and dancing and will be missed by many friends and family whom she enjoyed spending her time with.
There will be a Memorial Service for Ruth on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Kindersley, SK with Father Francis as celebrant.
Immediately following the service Ruth will be interred in the Fiske Cemetery beside her husband Fred and son Murray.
The family asks you join them in the Fiske Community Hall for a reception following the interment.
