Two suspects were reportedly arrested after a string of incidents in Midale on the weekend.
In a Crime Watch Advisory issued by the Weyburn RCMP detachment Saturday morning, they advised they had received reports of suspects who were breaking into vehicles and stealing items. It was reported that there were possibly two men and one woman involved. The Advisory stated they had been stranded in Midale as their vehicle was abandoned.
Throughout the day on Saturday, updates were provided by residents on social media as the investigation continued. In some of those posts, photos showed someone being taken into custody by the RCMP. Comments stated there were two men taken into custody in connection with the investigation.
The RCMP had not confirmed as of Monday morning whether any arrests in connection with the string of incidents in Midale had been made. Discover Weyburn will provide updates to this story as they become available.
