With profound sadness, we announce the sudden death of Patrick “Pat” James Dean.
Pat was born in Calgary Alberta, on May 10th,1957 and raised in Drayton Valley Alberta. He travelled all over Saskatchewan as an RCMP and would eventually retire in Weyburn Saskatchewan. Pat died on July 20th, 2025, in Kennedy Saskatchewan.
He was predeceased by his son, Graham Dean; parents, Fred and Barbara Dean; sister & brother in law, Leith & Brian Litke & brother in law, John Richards.
Pat leaves behind, his loving wife, Shirley Dean; son, Andrew Dean (grandchildren Noah and Layla Dean); son, Ben Bedore (Jolene Pettapiece) {Hailey, Kylee, Breanna, Dalton, Chase}; mother in law, Beryl Richards; brother in Law, Tom Richards (Lauri) Stephanie (Trevor); Clayton (Jocelyn) {Hailey and Ethan}; Cheyenne; sister in law, Marg Shire, Jason {Layla and Boston}, Jenn (Cim) {Hailey, Rylee},Jamie {Ellie and Grace}; and all of The Bedore Clan (everyone loved Uncle Pat) and nephew, Murray Litke & family as well as many, many friends and his Troop #13 Brothers.
He had a smile for everyone he met. “I Play Guitar, I Drink, I Know Things”
A Private Interment and Celebration of Pat's Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family of Pat asks that donations be made in memory of his son Graham to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada at 306 Horton St. E Suite 203, London, ON N6B 1K7
