The Kindersley and District Co-op’s community lunch program is continuing this week in Eatonia, with all proceeds going toward local recreation.
This week’s lunch features chili and a bun, served at the Eatonia Community Hall on Main Street. Funds raised will support Eatonia & District Recreation.
Last week, community members gathered for burgers and hotdogs, raising $1,230 for the Kindersley 365 Air Cadets.
The Co-op hosts the $5 lunches every Tuesday until mid-September, with proceeds donated to different non-profit organizations in the region. Upcoming meals include pancake breakfasts and tacos in a bag.
