Howard Zentner

November 5, 1980 – July 25, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and enduring love that we announce the passing of Howard Zentner, who left us on July 25, 2025, at the age of 44.

Born on November 5, 1980, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Howard was a man of quiet integrity, quick wit, and endless generosity. Known for his mechanical genius, Howard could tear apart an engine and rebuild it without blinking—whether it was a car, a quad, or the family snowblower. He found joy in the simple things: a morning hunt, a good ice fishing trip, a hockey game, or a fresh batch of deer jerky to share.

Born with a deep appreciation for community, Howard cherished time with his friends and all those who made life lighter with laughter and loyalty. He had a unique ability to make people feel accepted, seen, and welcome.

Howard is predeceased by his grandparents Ben & Mary Zentner, father Lindon Zentner, daughter Raelin Nesvold and lovingly remembered by his wife Amanda Zentner and their son Grayson Zentner; his brother Herman Zentner; nieces Camara Zentner, Avery, Alyssa and Kaycee Perrault, and nephew Kohen Perrault along with Mother Diana Symunuk and Johanna Smith.

Howard spent much of his life working at Doepker, where he found both challenge and pride in his role. He grew with the company over many years, serving as both a union representative and a dedicated member of the Occupational Health & Safety team.

Howard's warmth, humor, and steadfast presence left an imprint on everyone he encountered.

Howard will be missed more than words can express, but his spirit lives on in the engines he built, the memories he made, and the people who carry him forward.

A Celebration of Howard’s life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 11:00am at Hillcrest Church, 1550 Main St. N Moose Jaw.
