Katie Ginter, 75, of Winkler passed away Thursday, July 31st at Boundary Trails Health Centre. She is survived by 3 daughters, 1 son and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Edwin Ginter.
A memorial service for Katie Ginter will be held August 6th, 2pm at Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church with private family interment prior to the service.
Viewing will be August 5th, 1-9pm at Wiebe Funeral Home Winkler.

Katie Ginter (nee Dyck)
On Wednesday, July 31, 2025. Katie Ginter, at the age of 75 from Winkler, Manitoba, passed away with family by her side. She was welcomed into the arms of her Savior with joy and a thankful heart.
Katie was born on October 5, 1949, as Tina Dyck at the Bethel Hospital in Winkler. In 1967, Mom met the love of her life, Edwin Ginter, and they were married on December 16 of the same year. They started life together in Plum Coulee, moved to Winnipeg for several years before settling back in the Winkler area, where they spent the rest of their lives together raising their family.
Katie was baptized upon the confession of her faith in Winnipeg, MB, at the age of 18.
Her love for the Lord was evident in everything she did, from teaching Sunday school and being on the serving group in the Sommerfelder church. Mom supported several charities that were close to her heart both prayerfully and financially.
Katie is survived by her daughters Carol (Lewis) Rempel& family, Linda (Wayne) Doell & family, Dolores (Richard) Smart & family and son Michael (Margaret) & family. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Edwin on November 12, 2021, her parents Henry and Justina Michnik, numerous siblings and extended family members.
