The South East Helping Hands (SEHH) is driving into action with their first ever golf tournament this August.

The local nonprofit organization is shooting for an amazing event, with more than 70 golfers already signed up.

A hole lot of fun

Ken Dyck, operations manager at SEHH, says anyone can register whether you’re a solo golfer, a pair, or a full team of four — there’s a spot for you!

“We’ll put you in a place, and get you going,” Dyck says.

SEHH makes the registration process simple so you can focus on your swing.

“To sign up, they can go to our website or just give us a call at (204) 326-2599,” he says.

Fairways and fundraising

Dyck says the community support has been apparent, with local sponsors like Unger Meats, G&M Jewlers, and Harvest Honda donating to the cause.

“There are a ton of sponsors, the sponsors have been amazing,” Dyck says.

He notes golfers can win prizes from a 75-inch TV to $50,000, keeping the tournament exciting and enticing.

Whether you’re a pro on the course or just looking for a day of community connection, this tournament is a fun way to get on the green and support a great cause.

The tournament will take place at the Quarry Oaks Golf Course in Steinbach on August 15th, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
