Water main break will disrupt highway traffic in Kerrobert

A water main break on the 100 block of Pacific Avenue in Kerrobert has forced the closure of one highway lane as crews work to repair the damage.

The southeast-bound lane highway 31, the direction heading out of town toward Kindersley or Saskatoon, is blocked off until further notice while the excavation and repair work continues.

Town officials are urging motorists to slow down and use caution when driving through the area, as workers and heavy equipment are on site.

Updates will be provided by the Town of Kerrobert as progress is made on the repair. There is no word yet on how long the lane closure will remain in effect.

Drivers are asked to plan accordingly and follow any posted detours or traffic control in place.
