Property-related crimes kept Luseland police busy in July, as officers responded to multiple reports of trespassing, suspicious activity, and mischief.

According to the Luseland Police Service’s monthly report, police received three separate calls involving trespass to property, along with five complaints regarding suspicious persons, vehicles or activity in the community.

Officers also investigated a case of mischief under $5,000, though no further details were provided.

Two property checks were completed at the request of local residents, and one report was made regarding an abandoned vehicle. Police also received a single bylaw complaint during the month.

In addition to property-related incidents, Luseland police assisted with two domestic disputes and worked alongside an out-of-province agency on a sexual offence investigation.

Police say they also dealt with two mental health-related calls and responded to two separate medical emergencies.
