There were a ton of musical performances during the Strathmore Stampede long weekend.

There was the Emerging Artist Showcase, which featured the music of indie artists from around the area.

On Friday (Aug. 1) night, there was the Friday Night Round-up Concert, featuring country star Tyler Joe Miller.

Before Miller took the stage, he was introduced by Miss Strathmore Stampede's Aliera Chernoff and Tenley Warburton, alongside Miss Rodeo Canada Codi Wilson. StrathmoreNow/Brandon Zdebiak

The Surrey-based musician played several of his original songs, including Wild As Her and Never Met A Beer.

Hundreds of audience members stood in the dirt of the Stampede Grounds to watch the show, while others sat in the stands.

The Strathmore Agricultural Society brings in a new country artist every year to headline the music at the Strathmore Stampede. Last year featured country artist Jade Eagleson.
