The Team Saskatchewan 15U girls were unable to get it done yesterday at Basketball Canada Nationals in Ontario, losing 61-50 to Alberta in the quarter finals.
The teams run might be over, but they had an incredible summer working towards nationals, and can point to two medals from Las Vegas as rewards.

The men's team lost out to Manitoba Thursday morning, but the Saskatchewan 15U women's team is still alive at Basketball Canada nationals in Oshawa, Ontario.
The team, led by head coach and Unity native Zenon Orobko, won all four of their preliminary games during the week and will now face Alberta this afternoon for a chance to advance to the semis. Saskatchewan started their tournament on Monday with an 82-42 win over Nova Scotia, continued with a 66-57 win against Manitoba on Tuesday, following that up with a 71-50 win against New Brunswick, and 73-63 victory against Newfoundland and Labrador on Wednesday.
The 15U team was put together by Orobko, and assistant coaches Jade Cook and Keira Dyck back in the spring. Practices helped hone their game for two tournaments in Vegas back in July where they dominated teams from across North America, the Nationals stage their biggest one yet.
