Friday power outage affecting customers east of Lucky Lake

An unplanned power outage is scheduled for around Lucky Lake on Friday, that will affect approximately 35 SaskPower customers.

The outage is expected to run from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, affecting customers located east of the village, to the lake.

SaskPower spokesperson Joel Cherry shared the further details of the outage earlier this week. He said that the five-hour timeframe is due to the fact crews have to completely replace the pole and cross at the site, a job that takes longer than typical repairs.

Just earlier this week SaskPower cut power for only 30 minutes in the Eatonia, Glidden area, affecting over 800 customers.
