Just a few weeks removed from their run to the finals in the Fertile Valley Baseball League, the Rosetown Angels put on a show at Baseball Sask Tier 4 provincials in Hanley this past weekend, but fell one win short of taking home the title.

The Angels arrived in Hanley for the first game of the tournament on Friday morning at 9:00 AM, and came out of the gates hot with a 20-3 win against the host Hanley White Sox. Their next game wasn't until Saturday at 2:00 PM against the Pasquia Angels, Rosetown earning a 6-5 win against their fellow Halo's, a team they would see again.

Sunday saw Rosetown finish the round-robin with a 14-6 win against the Central Sask Cannons as the offense was humming once again. The semi-finals presented a rematch with the Cannons, a closer game finishing 15-14 as Rosetown needed every run that crossed the plate.

The final game was another rematch against Pasquia. The second game did not go in Rosetown's favour as Pasquia got revenge from Saturday in the form of a 21-8 win to take home the gold.
