Temporary water source change in Kindersley could affect colour and smell

Due to a power outage at the river pump station in Kindersley over the weekend, water was briefly drawn from the CN reservoir.

Residents may notice discoloured water or an “earthy” smell.

Officials confirm the water remains safe for drinking and continues to meet all parameters set by the Water Security Agency.

The situation is being monitored, and normal supply is expected to resume shortly.
