Alida Korte selected to Team Canada's roster for U18 Women series against United States

Before she comes to Humboldt at the end of the month as an instructor for the Humboldt Broncos Girls Hockey Camp, Alida Korte will be competing on an international stage. 

Korte was one of the 25 players selected to represent Canada at the 2025 U18 series against the United States.  

The two teams will meet in a three game series at the Lake Placid Olympic Centre from August 13-16.  

Korte is one of nine players on the Team Canada roster that were a part of the gold medal winning squad at the 2025 IIHF U18 World Women's Championship.  

Last year, Korte led the RINK HA Kelowna U18 Prep team in scoring with 63 points (24G-39A) in 29 games.  

The 17-year-old has committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes Women’s Hockey team.
