A pair of NFL teams came to a complete standstill recently after a player from one of the teams suffered a serious injury.
This past Friday, the Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons were playing a preseason game when Detroit cornerback Morice Norris, 24, suffered a head injury.
The hit caused Norris to seize and lie motionless for almost 20 minutes.
Instead of continuing the game, the teams let the clock run out as they gathered in a circle and prayed around the player.
🚨NEWS: #NFL referee Shawn Hochuli told Dan Campbell and Raheem Morris aftee the Morice Norris injury that the game still needed to be played.

Norris was transported to the hospital in stable condition and was later released and is recovering at home.
He is now on concussion protocol and will sit on the sidelines for at least two weeks.
On Saturday, Norris reassured fans on social media that he’s okay and thanked them for all the check-ins and love.
And on Tuesday, Norris posted on Instagram, reminding his fans that God is truly amazing.
"Starting this journey, I put my complete faith in him and walked the path he had already preset for me without fear," said Norris. "I will forever be grateful for the trials and obstacles he places in front of me because I know I have nothing to fear."
He went on to thank everyone for their prayers and expressed his gratitude to both organizations for the support they gave him and his family.
" I’m just a kid who wants to play ball, and you all will see me playing again real soon, so have no fear, God is with me, " said Norris. "Proud to be a ball player, proud to be a Lion, let’s keep the show going. This is only the beginning, gonna be LEGENDARY."
The game was called with Detroit up 17-10.
