After Forrest Frank dedicated a song to David Crowder as he recovers from a broken leg, Crowder has joined the process and added lyrics of his own.

Crowder shared on social media that he had emergency surgery after he broke his leg on August 6 and tagged Forrest in the post, just after Forrest was miraculously healed after fracturing his back.

Forrest responded with a song of encouragement and invited any feedback that Crowder had. Now Crowder has added his flair to the song.

"The other week I broke my leg, and what do you know, I got this message," Crowder said on the social media post. "Forrest is addressing me, you might not be able to stand but you can stand on the rock! I'm like oh, I needed that."

Crowder shared a version he had been working on, "What do you think @hiforrest?"

Fans took to the comments and shared how much they're loving the song so far. "Y’all are so talented!! Writing songs with broken bones…God-given gifts, baby! Love your praises through the highs and lows."

Another fan added, "Who would’ve thought we’d get this many hospital performances this year in Christian music."

Crowder is now waiting to hear back from Forrest of what he thinks of the song.
