Please be advised that construction in the Hamlet of Hythe on 101 Avenue between 100 Street and 101 Street starts today, Wednesday, August 13. The project includes excavating the main road, performing sewer system inspections and repairs, and completing the necessary road surface repairs. The work is expected to take approximately three weeks to complete.
Residents are asked not to park near where work is taking place, use caution around construction zones, follow posted signage, and use alternative routes. As the project progresses, road closures may be necessary to accommodate construction. Any closures will be communicated via Voyent Alert. Businesses in the affected area will still be accessible during construction and any road closures. Work will be conducted from Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
No interruptions to water or sewer services are expected. Should service interruptions occur, notices will be available on our website at www.countygp.ab.ca/water-and-sewer and Voyent Alert.
