Thursday evening began one of Grunthal’s favourite weekends. Hanover Ag fair started celebrations with the Bull Riders Canada Invitational, an outdoor movie, and a party in the dirt.
Today brings family fun for everyone on a beautiful Saturday in the southeast. The morning showcased a parade, vendor villages, and world-famous chicken.
This afternoon brings even more action to the exhibition grounds, such as chainsaw caving demos, art at the fair, a kid's zone with bouncy castles, a magician, and a petting zoo. Further, there will be an antique farming equipment display and much more.
While you enjoy the fair, you can also participate in a competition. The Kevin Toews Memorial Arm-Wrestling Competition will take place from 1-4 at the RM of Hanover Food tent.
Next, bring your sore arms down to the mud bog to cheer on Manitoba Mud Mafia’s mud races.
This evening will close off with music from Ryan Langdon on the mainstage, and fireworks.
Tomorrow will bring community church followed by a community lunch.
If you can’t make it to the fair this weekend, keep your eyes out for this annual event next year.
