A two-wheeled problem has come to light for the Biggar RCMP.
While speeds over the posted limit can be a common theme of the area report, the detachment's latest bout with the dangerous driving practice had more to do with the location as shared by Cst. Chad Mehl.
"... A complaint of motorbikes speeding excessively in the back alley and driving along the walking paths behind Wright Crescent on the north side of Biggar."
Not only are motorbikes, and All-Terrain-Vehicles illegal to drive in those areas but are also very unsafe. That goes for the driver, as well as any members of the public with the mentioned alleys and walkways meant to be an open public place.

That's why in response; the detachment will be stepping up patrols in attempt to curb the problem.
"Biggar RCMP will be attempting to increase presence at or around this location to deter any unlawful activity under the All-Terrain Vehicle Act or Traffic Safety Act," stated the report, as anyone with reports of their own can contact the Biggar RCMP at (306) 948-6600.
