Lucky Lake native Kash Meyers and the Team Saskatchewan mens' volleyball team are undefeated at the Canada Summer Games after two wins so far from the The Works Field House in St. Johns, Newfoundland.

In the opening game on Tuesday, Saskatchewan beat Newfoundland in straight sets 3-0 with wins of 25-22, 25-13, 25-21. Then in their second match on Wednesday morning against BC it was a 3-1 victory, as Sask. dropped the first set 25-20, before rattling off three straight wins 25-14, 25-22, and 25-18.

The group is now idle until tomorrow when they return to the court to face Quebec, who beat BC on Tuesday and play Newfoundland this afternoon. They will be the final game of the day after BC faces Newfoundland.

Looking at the other pools, Alberta is first in Pool B at 2-0, and Nova Scotia is first in Pool C also at 2-0.
