The Carlyle RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in locating the driver of a white Dodge truck that was involved in a hit and run this morning.

At around 7 a.m. on Highway 9 just north of Alameda, the truck was southbound on Highway 9 when it crossed the center line and clipped the oncoming vehicle.

RCMP reported that there were no injuries, with the victim's vehicle being drivable following the incident.

The white Dodge Ram is described as being lifted with aftermarket white rims and wide tires. The truck is likely to have a missing or severely damaged driver's side rear-view mirror.

Carlyle RCMP ask for either the driver of that vehicle to call them, or for any information to be passed along to them. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Carlyle Detachment at 306-453-6707.

They can also call 310-RCMP for immediate response, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
