SaskTel wireless outage impacts RCMP non-emergency lines across Saskatchewan

Residents across Saskatchewan are being affected by a province-wide SaskTel wireless outage, prompting RCMP to issue a public advisory Friday morning.

The wireless disruption has left the RCMP’s 310-RCMP non-emergency line inoperable, though 911 services remain fully functional for emergencies and crimes in progress, officials confirmed at 9:27 a.m. CST.

Authorities are reminding the public to reserve 911 calls strictly for urgent situations. For non-emergency matters, residents are encouraged to visit their local RCMP detachment or nearest emergency services in person until SaskTel resolves the cellular outage.
