Anyone who commutes around Unity along Highway #21 south may have noticed a new road sign go up in the last month.
Located just south of town are two road signs pointing west to Denzil and east to Revenue, the newest addition also sending people east towards the Grill Lake Memorial military site.
The Unity Legion Branch No.90 took to social media to turn people's attention to the sign back on July 24.
"Have you ever hopped in the vehicle and just went for a drive, checking out some of the neat areas our province has to offer? Well, be sure to head south of Unity on Highway 21 and follow the new big green sign that will take you to the Grill Lake WWII Memorial site."
The turnoff to Grill Lake is located about 20 minutes south of Unity.
"Thank you to the Ministry of Highways for recognizing an important piece of military history."
