During these times, water service will be turned off in the listed areas. Once service is restored, residents are asked to follow boil water advisory precautions until testing confirms the water supply is safe.
Safety Measures
Because distribution depressurization can compromise water safety, residents in the affected areas should bring tap water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for:
Drinking or ice making
Preparing beverages, including infant formula
Preparing food
Brushing teeth
It is not necessary to boil water for laundry or washing dishes. Bathing and showering is also safe for adults and older children who can avoid swallowing water. Young children should be sponge bathed. If boiling is not possible, residents should use an alternate safe supply of water.
Duration of Advisory
Water testing is expected to be completed by Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Unless otherwise notified, residents may resume normal water use after that date.
