Grunthal Motocross is holding its last races of the season, and the Grunthal Centennial Park is packed!
Kimberly Toews with Grunthal MX says it’s exciting to see the riders who have worked all season getting the points they need for their placement.
As a non-profit organization, the community support for the riders and this event means a lot to Grunthal Motocross.
“We can never believe the amount of support we get because it's hot, it's sunny, there's no shade, and people are here from 8:00 AM, no matter what. And they walk. You can see it for a mile and a half just to get here. It's fantastic.” Says Towes

With campers out all weekend and folks pouring in for the races, Towes estimates that there were 1,300 spectators by 2 o'clock.
If you want to get involved in the sport further than just watching, you can join in on a Wednesday practice. There are classes all evening.
“They run from four to 9. I will be here at the gate. Anybody can come practice. You've just got to have your gear on and sign a waiver on our website.”
The fun is for all ages, Toews mentions, “We have a little track for the kids. It's free.”
