Team Saskatchewan's final medal count at the 2025 Canada Summer Games came in at 48. Athletes donning the green and white earned 13 gold, 14 silver, and 21 bronze medals over two weeks of competition out east in St John's, Newfoundland.
The closing ceremony took place on Sunday as double-gold diver Lila Stewart joined fellow two time gold medalist in Para Athletics Brendan Cote-Williamson as flag bearers.

West Central competitors at this year's Games included a pair of Delisle natives Jordan Durham playing men's softball, and Eryn Kielo who competed in 300M Steeplechase. Two local wrestlers were on the list, Wilkie's Avi'endha Beaugrand and Rosetown's Neda Robertson.
Two Kyle natives were also out east, one athlete in Rugby Sevens player Adriann De Necker, and a women's beach volleyball coach in Brittany Marshall. Another softball player was Rosetown's Hailey Burton in softball, and then staying with the team sports, Kash Meyers from Lucky Lake was part of the men's volleyball team.

The women's softball competition took place during the first week as Burton and Saskatchewan finished 2-2 in pool play, and then wound up eighth overall for the tournament after losing 4-0 to PEI in the final. Durham and the men's softball team fared a bit better as they finished a round-robin style at 5-3, but wound up fourth in a tough qualification game loss against Nova Scotia.
The other Delisle athlete in the mix was Eryn Kielo competing in the 3000m Steeplechase. Kielo finished ninth out of fourteen competitors earning a time of 11:13.11.
The two local wrestlers, Wilkie's Avi'endha Beaugrand and Rosetown's Neda Robertson competed with the female team that finished 4-1 in Pool A, their only loss coming to undefeated BC. In the finals Saskatchewan lost a prairie showdown to Alberta and ended up in fourth.
After competition during the week it was individual bouts on Saturday to end things off. Beaugrand lost by injury, while Robertson lost by fall.

One of the biggest stories of the whole games was Saskatchewan duo Alexa Smith and Erika Markentin, who won the provinces first ever medal in beach volleyball. As mentioned earlier the team was led by Kyle native coach Brittany Marshall as her group navigated a thrilling final to earn the win.
The other Kyle native in the mix was Adriann De Necker who finished sixth with Team Saskatchewan in Rugby Sevens. Taking two wins in seven matches, Saskatchewan lost 35-12 in the 5th place game to Nova Scotia.
Back to volleyball, the men's competition inside featured Lucky Lake's Kash Meyers and a good group who went undefeated through the first two games before losing to Quebec. That loss led to another defeat against Manitoba in the quarterfinal, and then the team lost to New Brunswick to finish sixth.
