This is your last week to enjoy the Strathmore Splash Park

The Strathmore Lions Splash Park, located in Kinsmen Park, will be closing in less than a week.

According to the Town of Strathmore's website, the splash park is expected to close for the season on Monday (Sept. 1).

"The water park may close without warning in periods of inclement weather," wrote the town, adding that the closing date may be changed due to local weather conditions.

The splash park opened early this year, starting up two days ahead of time on May 30. The park had also closed a few days ahead of schedule in 2024.

After closing down, the splash park will be back up and running by June 1 of 2026.

The park was created with support from the Strathmore Lions Club.
