We asked our readers to let us know their highlight of the summer in Strathmore.

We had a poll on our homepage asking about people's favourite part of the summer, with a total of 52 people responding to the poll.

Leading the poll with 32 votes (61.54 per cent) was the Strathmore Stampede, one of the largest rodeos in Canada.

Behind the Stampede was the recent Medieval Faire and Artisan Market, which received nine votes (17.31 per cent), followed by the Canada Day celebrations at Kinsmen Park with seven votes (13.46 per cent).

At the back of the poll were the two car shows - hosted by the Strathmore Fun Runners, and Zegil Automotive and Pure Country Meats, which each received two votes (3.84 per cent).

We have a new poll asking residents how they plan to spend the last few weeks of summer, with the results of each poll shared every week.
