Strathmore is about to get a new shawarma shop

After being in the works for over a year, Strathmore is finally getting a shawarma shop.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Persian Shawarma would be hosting its grand opening on Sunday (Aug. 31) at 11 a.m.

Despite this, the shop has already opened to customers with a quiet soft launch beginning on Monday.

The shop is located at 100 Ranch Market just off of George Freeman Trail.

This is one of three new restaurants expected to open in Strathmore by the end of the year. There will also be a Prairie Donair and Busters Pizza and Donair arriving in the coming months.
