On Aug. 21, Grande Prairie Rural RCMP responded to a collision between a stolen vehicle and a civilian vehicle at a rural location East of Grande Prairie. Following the collision, an altercation between the suspects and the victim occurred where the suspects produced a knife and subsequently stole the victims vehicle. The stolen vehicle was located a short time later in the City of Grande Prairie and 3 suspects were observed fleeing the scene. A brief foot chase resulted in the arrest of 2 suspects. Additional investigation identified the third suspect who was arrested later in the day .
RCMP have charged Bradlee Post (34), Brendon McPherson (28) and Jasmine Seymour (21) with:
- Robbery;
- Possession of Property obtained by Crime (x2);
- Flight PO;
- Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle;
- Uttering Threats;
- Assault with a weapon;
- Break and Enter.
Post and McPherson were brought before a Justice of the Peace and remanded into custody. Their next Court appearance is Sept. 8 2025, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Grande Prairie. Seymour brought before a Justice of the Peace and released to appear Sept. 24, 2025, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Grande Prairie.
