Court proceedings in Kindersley were relatively quiet on Aug. 26, with two cases adjourned until Sept. 9 and one lengthy trial taking up much of the day.
Trevor Swain entered not guilty pleas to charges of assault, assault causing bodily harm and uttering threats. His trial date was set for Dec. 16.
Meanwhile, Curtis Skinner faced trial, representing himself, on charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, impaired driving and refusing to comply with a breath test. The trial lasted most of the day.
