Heat wave continues in Grande Prairie

A long-duration heat warning remains in effect, with daytime highs climbing between 29 and 34 degrees and warm nights in the mid-teens.

Officials caution the heat’s impact could build over time, urging residents and visitors to stay cool and check on vulnerable neighbours.

Relief is expected early next week when temperatures ease.
