Drivers in Kindersley will soon notice a change in how they park near the town’s busiest intersection.
The Town of Kindersley says parking on 1st Avenue East and 1st Avenue West, on either side of Main Street, is being switched from angle parking to parallel parking.
Communications coordinator Anna Polsfut says the move is aimed at improving safety and traffic flow.

“That intersection is very busy, and when you have people backing out right near the corner it can cause some issues,” she said.
Polsfut added the change is a recent decision and part of the town’s efforts to keep residents safe on the roads.
The town is asking drivers to watch for new signage and use extra caution during the transition. Questions or concerns can be directed to the town office.
