Rosetown RCMP say they responded to a number of calls ranging from suspicious activity to driving complaints during the week of Aug. 22 to 28.
On Aug. 22, police investigated a report of suspicious activity at a local business. RCMP say no signs of criminal activity were found. That same day, officers also responded to a 911 call from a residence in Rosetown. It was determined not to be an emergency.
Later in the week, RCMP dealt with several driving complaints on Highway 7. Police say some of the vehicles were located and drivers were issued warnings.
A noise complaint in Rosetown was reported during the early hours of Aug. 27, and RCMP also assisted with traffic control on Aug. 28 for an oversized load moving through the community.
In all, police issued 59 traffic-related charges in the detachment area during the week, along with responding to two 911 mis-dials and four false alarm calls.
