A warning has been issued that a Vanguard-based insurance broker has been operating without a license.
Kehoe Agencies Limited and Jill Marie Talbot are not licensed as insurance agents in Saskatchewan. This is according to an official release from the Insurance Councils of Saskatchewan. They have issued a warning to all local residents that any licenses that Kehoe and Talbot possessed for the purpose of selling insurance were cancelled by ICS on June 30, 2025.
This information was released after a report received by the ICS indicating that Kehoe and Talbot may have sold policies after they were no longer licensed.
Anyone who may have purchased insurance through Kehoe or Talbot is encouraged to contact the insurer maintaining the policy to confirm that the policy has been validly placed with them.
That will involve verifying the policy number, effective dates, and coverage terms. Also, confirming that premium payments were both received and applied to the policy.
If direct confirmation is not available, people can use the insurer's website, customer portal, or support line.
The ICS encourages anyone who believes that they have been affected by an invalid insurance transaction with Kehoe Agencies Limited or Jill Talbot to file a complaint on the ICS website, using the provided form.
