Grande Prairie Enforcement Services is requesting the public’s help in identifying the party responsible for an asphalt spill that occurred on the morning of August 28, 2025.
At approximately 8:50 a.m., City of Grande Prairie crews and Peace Officers responded to a report of asphalt that had fallen from a truck traveling along 116 Street, between 77 Avenue and 84 Avenue, south of Costco. The material was spread across the road, posing a potential hazard to motorists.
Enforcement Services is encouraging the owner of the vehicle or company involved to come forward. In addition, anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information that could assist in the investigation is urged to contact Grande Prairie Enforcement Services at 780-830-5790 or es_contact@gppolice.com.
