Fuel House Chestermere is enticing residents to get fit for a prize.
Starting on Tuesday (Sept. 2), Fuel House launched its Fall Fitness Challenge, an eight-week program designed for all skill levels, including beginners.
"It's $100 to enter, and the people who get the best results keep all the cash and prizes," said owner Sara Berdusco.
Throughout the challenge, Fuel House will take a starting weight, measurements, and three anatomical pictures. The gym also does weekly follow-ups to check on progression.
"We have a group chat where people post their recipes and tips to help people succeed," added Berdusco.
The challenge scales to all fitness levels and also features an area for kids, allowing parents to have the gym occupy their children during a workout.
Supplements are included in the prize, with Berdusco speaking about the success of past challenges.
"Some have lost 30 pounds in eight weeks, and those who carried on after the challenge lost as much as 80 pounds," added Berdusco.
The gym combines progressive overload and short bursts of cardio to build lean mass and increase metabolic capacity.
Those interested in taking the challenge can sign up on Fuel House's website.
