The Saskatchewan Roughriders moved to 9-2 and stayed atop the CFL standings with their 34-30 win over Winnipeg in last week's Labour Day Classic in Regina.

Now it's the Blue Bombers turn to host, as Saskatchewan and Winnipeg get set for the annual 'Banjo Bowl' rematch on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 PM as part of a CFL tripleheader.

The game was dubbed as such back in 2004 after "banjo related" comments from former Winnipeg kicker Troy Westwood the year prior.

The Bombers' marketing team has run with the joke ever since, to the tune of 20+ years of the rematch rivalry. In recent history the Roughriders have tried to quash the name by referring to it as the Labour Day rematch: to no avail as fans and broadcasters alike "picked" the original name.
