Two teams featuring West Central players are competing at the 2025 Female U16 AAA Showcase Tournament in Swift Current this weekend, putting an end to Sask First competition in the Female Under-16 Program for 2025.
Team White sees Kindersley's Iralyn Calkins joining a pair of Rosetown natives Harper Kampen and Jalaa Moore Jagow, taking on Team Green featuring Kerrobert's Berkley Wuttunee, Kindersley's Hayden Hilbig, and Rosetown's Charleigh Johnston.
Those six players battled through regional camps and multiple roster cuts to earn a spot at the showcase. The players were in Regina last month for summer camp.
Not only will the teams play each other, but also a pair of exhibitions against the Pilot Mound Buffaloes and Regina Rebels. Find the full rosters for this weekend HERE.
